Italian Journal of Occupational and Environmental Hygiene publishes original research articles and  field experience on occupational and environmental hygiene.

The areas of concern are identification, evaluation and control of environmental factors that could give adverse effects on the human health and on the preservation of the environment. The main topics are: biological, chemical and physical agents; biomonitoring; ergonomics; sampling, measurement and evaluation practices; indoor air quality; occupational exposure limits; personal protective equipments; hazardous waste; industrial ventilation.
